Time period: 2018
Role: UI Design, Illustration, UX Design
Agency: Bounteous
In the ever-changing transportation market, Skedaddle offers a unique solution for the speed bumps that customers experience when seeking on-demand mass transit. With curated group rides and custom charters, Skedaddle is the new way to get your crew to the Giants game or shuttle your wedding party from ceremony to reception. With customer engagement and brand awareness at the top of their priority list, Skedaddle looked to Bounteous to improve their digital marketing strategy, data capture, and engagement with their customers.
Bounteous delivered and implemented a WordPress CMS with improved designs for their website. These new technical capabilities allowed Skedaddle marketing to easily and efficiently publish new content to the website — a task not possible with their previous infrastructure. Bounteous also created new and improved landing pages, site navigation, and content-authoring tools to support their marketing efforts.
A custom WordPress implementation streamlined the content management process. This solution allows the team to craft unique page layouts using a digital asset library equipped with Bounteous design UI elements, down to an atomic level, fit for their every content need. Using the new platform, targeted landing pages for wedding and university markets were created and the user experience was improved through an updated, audience-based homepage design and navigation strategy.
Under the creative direction of Hannah Green, I designed flexible, responsive components that aligned with Skedaddle’s established branding. We used these components to create two distinct landing pages in addition to a new homepage. Additionally, I assisted Lead UX Designer Matt Motyka by designing wires for the homepage.
