Gala Invitations & Program

Raven’s annual fundraising gala was held at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum this year. I had the opportunity to work with Raven to create an identity for their invitations and program that would harmoniously complement the venue and the theme of the gala, Metamorphosis. to have an earthy, yet modern style that would fit harmoniously with the venue. In addition to these, I am currently designing the program for the even that will be in a complementary style.
Idea Generation
After an early agreement to stay away from the obvious (metamorphosis ≠ butterfly) the kind folks at Raven decided they wanted their materials to have an earthy, yet modern style that would fit in nicely with the venue. Above are early concept sketches for different styles for the invitations.
